The Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies (CSCT) opened its doors at the University of Bath in 2008. This year they are celebrating 10 years and the Centre has rapidly become an important hub for sustainability in the UK.
Their mission is to advance research in the field of sustainable chemical technologies by bringing together expertise of multidisciplinary scientists and engineers.
They bring together academic expertise in collaboration with a network of industrial partners to carry out research, training and outreach in sustainable chemical technologies.
Our own programme - the Sustainable Technologies Business Acceleration Hub (STBAH) can connect organisation and help collaborate with the right contacts at the CSCT by offering bespoke support. Organisations are already seeing the benefits from working with us.
The STBAH offers bespoke business support and coaching to help innovative companies in the West of England achieve their potential. The support is FREE and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
To celebrate their 10 year anniversary the Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies has put together a brochure highlighting the programme in numbers and includes a number of really interesting case studies which amongst others include "Biodegradable materials from renewable resources" and "Plastics from wastes, sugars and CO2". There is also feedback from graduates.
